How to schedule a message to many WhatsApp groups

Schedule Posts lets you write one message and send it to many groups and numbers at a time you choose. Messages go out one by one at random times inside a window, so it does not look like a bot.

Schedule a post

Open Schedule Posts in the sidebar, under Groups.
Type your message in the Message box. Use B, I and S for bold, italic and strikethrough, or the emoji button.
Optionally click Attach a photo, video or file.
Under Send to, tick the groups you want. Use Search groups to find them.
Optionally add individual numbers in the box below, one per line or comma separated.
Under When, pick the time in Send around and set Spread over (minutes).
Check the preview on the right, then click Schedule for N chats.

The time you pick is the middle of the window. For example, 6:30 pm with a 20 minute spread sends between 6:20 and 6:40 pm. The start of that window must be at least a minute from now.

Limits to know

Messages can be up to 4096 characters.
Up to 50 chats per post.
Spread can be up to 720 minutes. Sends are at least 20 seconds apart, so a post to many chats needs a wider spread. The form widens it for you and tells you.
There is a cap on scheduled sends per 24 hours (200 unless your account has a different limit). If a post would go over it, split it across days.
Each group a post goes to counts as one scheduled group post on your plan. Growth and the free trial include 50 a month, Enterprise is unlimited, and Starter and Plus do not include them. Individual numbers do not count.

Track or cancel a post

Only posts that are still scheduled can be cancelled. Messages already sent stay sent.

Scroll to Your posts below the form.
Click a post to open its Send plan, which lists each chat, its send time and status (queued, sending, sent, failed or cancelled).
To stop it, click Cancel and confirm. Anything not yet sent is skipped.

Common questions

Why can't I click Schedule?

You need a message or an attachment, at least one group or number, and a time. The message must also be 4096 characters or less.

Can I edit a scheduled post?

No. Cancel it and schedule a new one.

What time zone is used?

Your account time zone, shown next to Send around. The account owner can change it in My Profile.

I see "One of the selected groups isn't one of yours anymore." What do I do?

Your number has left that group. Refresh the page and pick your groups again.
