How to see your WhatsApp groups and their members
My Groups shows the WhatsApp groups your linked number is part of. Click a group to see its members, who the admins are and their phone numbers.
See who is in a group
Each member shows a name (when we know it) and phone number. The group owner and admins have an Owner or Admin badge, and your own number is marked (You). The group description, if it has one, is shown above the list.
- Open My Groups in the sidebar, under Groups.
- Type in the Search box to find a group by name.
- Click the group to open it.
- Scroll the member list. If the group has more than 8 members, use the Search members box to find someone by name or number.
Why a member shows "Number hidden by WhatsApp"
Some newer WhatsApp accounts are shared with linked devices without their phone number. We show a name when we have one from their messages or contacts, and otherwise this note.
Creating groups and adding this number
Groups can only be created from your mobile phone with this number, not from here. To work with an existing group, add your linked number to it on WhatsApp and it shows up in My Groups.
Make sure this number is not the only admin of a group. Add another person as an admin too, so you don't lose access to the group if this number is ever blocked.
Common questions
A group is missing from the list. Why?
Only groups your linked number is currently a member of are shown. Check that the number is still in the group and that WhatsApp is connected.
Can I add or remove members here?
No. My Groups is for viewing. Manage members from WhatsApp on your phone.
What can I do with my groups?
Track tasks with Command Center, send posts with Schedule Posts, and get regular recaps with Summaries.
