How to import your business info from your website

Scrape your website

1. Open Train AI and stay on the Knowledge tab.
2. Type your address in the box, for example yourbusiness.com. You don't need to type https://.
3. Click Scrape and wait while it shows Scraping….
4. Check the new cards under Your sources and edit anything that is wrong.

What gets imported

• Only the one page you enter is read. To import other pages, such as your pricing or contact page, scrape each address separately.
• The AI looks for hours, location, contact details, services, prices, policies and FAQs, and skips menus and cookie notices.
• You get up to 12 cards per scrape. They are added next to your existing cards and never replace them.
• Only the first part of a very long page is read, so scrape the most useful page directly.

Scraping again adds new cards even if the same facts are already there. Delete duplicates under Your sources.

If the scrape fails

• Couldn't find anything useful about your business on that page: the page has little text. Try your About, Pricing or Contact page.
• Couldn't find any readable text on that page: the page may load its text with JavaScript or be mostly images. Add the info as Plain text instead.
• The website took too long to respond, or Couldn't reach that website: check the address and try again later.
• The website returned an error (HTTP 403) or similar: the site blocks automated visits. Copy the text in by hand.
• That URL doesn't look like a webpage: the link points to a file, not a page. Upload PDFs under Files.
• That page is too large to scrape: the page is over 5MB.
• That doesn't look like a valid website address: check for typos. Only http and https addresses work.
