How to send photos and files, and forward messages

Send a photo or file

1. Open the chat and make sure you have taken over from the AI.
2. Click the paperclip button (Attach file) to the left of the reply box.
3. Pick the file. It is sent as soon as you choose it.

• Allowed: images, videos, audio, PDF, and Word files (.doc, .docx).
• Maximum size: 16MB. Bigger files show File too large. Max 16MB.
• Images are sent as photos. Other files are sent as documents and show in the chat with a Download link.

Files are sent without a caption. Send your text as a separate message. The paperclip is locked while the AI is in charge of the chat.

Forward a message

Forwarding works between people and groups in any direction. The window only lists chats where the contact has already messaged you.

1. Point at the message in the chat. A round forward button (↪) appears beside it.
2. Click the forward button. The Forward message window opens.
3. Use Search chats and groups to find where to send it.
4. Tick up to 10 chats or groups.
5. Click Forward.

What happens after you forward

• Each chat you forwarded to switches to Human, so the AI does not answer the follow up there.
• If some chats fail, the window lists each one with the reason and keeps only the failed chats ticked, so you can try again.
• A text message can still be forwarded even if WhatsApp no longer has the original. A photo or file in that situation can't be forwarded, so send it again with the paperclip.
